Evening Routine Only

1. Cleanse your face thoroughly.

2. Make sure skin is completely dry (retinol can irritate damp skin).

3. Apply a small amount (1–2 drops or a pea-sized quantity) of the serum to the face.

4. Avoid sensitive areas: around the eyes, corners of the nose, and lips.

5. Follow with a moisturizer to reduce dryness or irritation.

6. Start 2–3 times a week, and gradually increase frequency as your skin adjusts.

Morning Routine

• Do NOT use retinol in the morning.

• Apply broad-spectrum sunscreen (SPF 30 or higher) every day. Sunscreen is essential when using retinol.

• Patch test before first use.

• Expect mild dryness or flaking at the beginning — this is normal while your skin adjusts.

• Avoid using with strong actives in the same routine such as:

  • AHAs/BHAs (glycolic, lactic, salicylic acid)

  • Benzoyl peroxide

  • Pure Vitamin C (L-ascorbic acid)

• Do not use on irritated, peeling, or sunburned skin.

• If severe redness or burning occurs, reduce frequency or discontinue.

• Pregnant or breastfeeding individuals should consult a healthcare provider before using retinoids.

• Avoid applying near eyes or lips unless the product is specifically formulated for that area.

• Store in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight.

• Keep the bottle tightly closed to protect retinol from air and light exposure.

• If packaged in a dark or opaque bottle, keep it that way — retinol is sensitive to light.

• Do not expose to extreme heat (e.g., leaving it in a car).

• Use within the recommended Period After Opening (PAO) for best potency.

• If the serum changes color or smell, it may be oxidized — consider replacing it.
